  • Spot The Difference

     'Spot The Difference!!'

    And this always comes with a sense of satisfaction and joy, so much so, it has became a habit in us to always spot the difference in many, be it the amount of branded goods we have in our closet as compared to others, or the attire you wore to a party that was so contrasting with the theme of the day, or say the even the unevenness of the eyeliner you applied on your eyelids, or so to say. We tend to spot differences rather than similarity!

     
    It just crossed my mind when I was facebooking playing 'spot the difference' that how much we prefer spotting the differences and just not see the similarities that was overshadowed by differences. I know life would be easier to spot the difference as logically speaking, differences is of course, much lesser than similarity. For example, what you see in two cars:

    Differences : the brand, the size of the car rims, the colour of the car, the car cc capacity, the gear box (manual or auto), the texture of the car seats, whether it is power stering or not (ok, thats all i know about cars after doing some thorough research lol)
     
    Similarities: both have four tyres, both have four doors, both have gear box, both have car seats, both have car lights, both have car horns, both have stering wheels, both have car windows, both have seat belts, both have air conditioners, both have car breaks and the list goes on and on.

    Sometimes, instead of seeing the differences, hey, its just a car and a car that takes us from one destination to another. Life made easy. By not spotting the differences, there will be no comparisons, hence no preferences, and here comes, contentment.

    This is just my way of looking in life, no doubt differences are important when it comes to decision making and goals in life, but hey, similarities bring more happiness, so think twice before you start those comparison mechanisms in your head, just take life one step at a time.

    I thought about a title that reads, have you finally found the one you given your heart to............
    then i figured, sometimes, crushes are just part of your life, nahh, I have got better things to do 

    I'm now into my 7th week of my semester 3, second week into my class tests.

    I LOVE MY UNIVERSITY LIFE

    Though there are times where I feel so stressed up, class tests and experiments that went haywired, so much so I felt like i-don't-want-to-study-anymore-and-just-get-married, like I even have a bf to begin with lol, and that some just don't treat you right, and the list goes on and on and on and on, okay I will stop here.hah!

    As I rethink all that happened, the disappointment just come back to me and I just felt like letting it all out in a puff, but come to think of it, all these screwed up moments are just temporary, this too will pass.

    Putting that all aside, I love my tutor!!Dr. Pichika Mallikarjuna Rao!!Boy, I have a habit of calling him by his full name, don't ya all?hahaha!Initially, I thought he was fierced just like he did in all his lectures, but hey, he is just so caring and friendly, i love my uni papa!! I love my uni koko!!Mai Chun Wai!!we are from the same uni papa LOL note the same initials too!

    Someone once told me, how one who are studying abroad had to be independent as not many would lift a finger to help when you are in time of need. Here, need I say more? i love my uni friends

    There are lots of YOU that I'm referring to as so many YOUs that have made a difference in my life.

    now, I'm much more matured since we last met

    its sad to have lost you to learn a valuable life lesson
    though we have lost touch, we are still great friends right?

  • The simple differences time can make

    I was almost electrocuted.

    As usual I head for my swimming lessons, I can SWIM!!yay yay yay!! thats not the point though, haha. Anyway, this very day, looking at the swimming pool, its greenish tinted water reflection hinted that something is different, something is wrong, danger. Yet, I still jumped into the pool, just like any other swimmers.

    IGNORANCE

    Recalling my swimming movements, i'm still a beginner mind you hah! Focusing on my underwater breathing, with every stroke, moving forward. Just as I was getting used to the water temperature, a security guard, foreigner, came. Mumbling, not knowing what he's saying, we just continued swimming. Then, he said one word that caught our attention.

    DANGER

    My heart raced, my mind blanked, all swimming skills forgotten, I sort of ran to the side of the pool and jumped out.

    Good lord, what just happen!

    Apparently, the drainage system was down and the operating compartment flooded with water. If the water level was any higher or me being in the pool any longer, I won't be blogging here, thanking for just being alive, breathing.

    At that instant, suddenly, problems that looked so big at a time, seem so small.

    Truth be told, I was pretty disturbed for the past weeks. Studies, studies, future, studies and more studies. Oh well, sometimes, we just have to let faith take the wheel.

    How fragile life is, how much we have taken life for granted.
